Lotus Flower Quality Program (LFQP)

LFF is training managers from shelters, caring for abused orphans throughout Thailand on a LFQP curriculum in order to set nationwide standards for infrastructure and standardising operational procedures of shelters. The goal is to certify those meeting LFQP standards, and once certification has been achieved, to direct donors towards accredited shelters. Training on the LFQP programme will be provided at the LFF Academy in Nondburi. The curriculum includes:

  • Assessing the need for infrastructure: from the perspective of an orphan, respecting international Children's Rights
  • Putting together sustainable implementation and funding plans: working plans on self-sustainable shelter models and fundraising ideas respecting Children's Rights
  • Lotus Flower Green Program: implementation of green practices such as composting, recycling, reusing, waste management, production of green energy or farming projects as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for shelters
