28 November 2008, Nonthaburi - ground breaking ceremony to mark the start of construction of the LFF Academy

To mark the first day of construction at the Lotus Flower Foundation Academy site, the LFF team along with pro bono architect Khun Kanika of Spacetime Architects, and the contractor's team led by Khun Piriyaand Khun Pongsawat of Soaek Deco Build, erected the first column of the LFF Academy in a special ground breaking ceremony. On a date that had been carefully selected on account of its auspicious properties, the land was blessed by a Thai Buddhist monk and chants were sung for prosperity, union, and good luck. The estimated construction period for the LFF Academy will be 6 months, with a target deepening date in mid 2009.
